Group Membership Scheme

Find out how our Southampton group membership toy library scheme supports toddler groups, childminders and early years settings with toy loans and EYFS resources.

Support for your group

While we are best known for our free toy libraries that operate across Southampton, we also offer support and resources to toddler groups in our city. We love what you do in your communities – you provide happy, fun and safe places for children and families to play and we want to support you!

With this in mind we are re-launching a way for your group to access support and resources through Community Playlink. We would like to invite you to join our Toy Library Group Membership Scheme.

It is ideal for anyone searching for a group membership toy library in Southampton or a childminder toy loan scheme in Southampton that offers practical, affordable support.

Full benefit details

Our Group Membership Scheme is designed to give toddler groups and early years settings practical support, fresh resources, and new ways to encourage play with families.

Across Southampton, we help groups borrow toys, plan playful learning, and build a stronger toy loan offer for the families they support.

Access advice and support for your group

We have an experienced team who can help answer questions you may have about running your group and are always very happy to help on the end of a phone or come for a visit.

Have the resources to offer a Toy Library of your own

We can create a stock package for you, along with all the paperwork that will allow you to loan toys out to your families. Offering a toy library is a lovely additional service and allows the fun of play to continue from your session all the way back home.

Borrow equipment and toys for use during your sessions

It’s a great way to refresh the toys that you have and is a brilliant way to offer your families more variety. We are creating a catalogue from which you can choose items ranging from soft play equipment to water trays, dolls houses, large tubs of construction blocks and so much more. Equipment and toys can be picked up from our location in Swaythling or can be delivered by arrangement.

These toy loans are especially useful for EYFS activities, sensory play, and childminders or toddler groups that want to rotate resources without the cost of buying everything themselves.

Things to note

If any item is lost, damaged, or not returned you may incur a further charge for replacement.

All toys and equipment are on loan for the time agreed with the toy librarian.

If you have any concerns, anything gets broken, or pieces go missing, please contact us.
