About Ralph
A chartered accountant since 1976, having qualified in the local office of a London based firm before moving on qualifying to the local office of Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG), gaining experience in auditing, tax, insolvency, and ad hoc assignments, becoming a departmental manager.
After a period of over 10 years, he moved to a local practice of Chartered Accountants, becoming a partner within a year when the firm merged to create a regional firm with 6 offices.
After 6 years he left to establish his own general accountancy practice in Southampton, which he ran for over 30 years before transferring the business in 2023 to another local practice and going into semi-retirement.
He was appointed Honorary Treasurer at CPL early in 2024.
