About Lorraine
Lorraine has over 40 years of experience in education, having taught within both the primary and secondary school age groups. Senior management positions, including school headship, have been held in the state and private school sectors.
She has first-hand experience of guiding schools through merger processes, to ensure their long-term viability. This has involved sensitive discussions within each school’s community, finance implications and transference of employees from one organisation to another.
More recently she has been a Primary School Advisor, involved with headteacher recruitment, governor training and the assessment of teaching standards. She has also been a Schools’ Inspector.
