About Joyce
Before joining the team at Community Playlink, I spent 20 years working in the construction industry as a bench joiner before having children.
Outside work, I am an active member of the Southampton Allotment and Garden Association and spend lots of time on the allotment with my boys. I also love baking and am often involved in cake sales at our local school, where I serve as chair of the PTFA.
I first came to the Toy Library as a mum during Covid, when it offered real family support at a time when many other services were not available.
I am passionate about helping other parents and caregivers access that same support for their children, now and in the future. As a mum of two young boys myself, I am always happy to lend a sympathetic ear.
